I started Manta Splash after years of competitive swimming and working closely with children and families. What I noticed over and over again was this — kids thrive when they feel understood. Not rushed. Not pressured. Not compared.

So I built something different.

Laura Barrios Romero

Swimming has been part of my life for years, but teaching is truly where my heart is. I love watching swimmers overcome fears, build confidence, and realize how capable they are in the water.

Manta Splash was created from that passion — and as we grow, I remain deeply involved to ensure every lesson reflects the same care, structure, and encouragement it was built on.

For the past four years, I’ve worked as a swim instructor, starting with group lessons and later transitioning into private instruction. Working with swimmers of all ages has taught me how to connect with different personalities, stay patient, and adapt my approach to help each individual succeed. I’m passionate about creating a positive, motivating environment where people feel supported, confident, and proud of their progress.
